This year we commemorate the 130th anniversary of foundation of Lidové noviny - newspaper that developed during the Austro-Hungarian monarchy into an essential periodical and one of the emblematic brands of the young Czechoslovak Republic. Its editors and collaborators included key figures in culture, science, art and university education. The daily set a high standard of journalistic work: information readiness, reliability of reporting, language and graphic level. The exhibition presents those of the editors and collaborators who belonged to the literary community of the time, such as Viktor Dyk, Jiří Mahen, Karel Čapek, Ferdinand Peroutka, Karel Poláček and many others.
