Rok války na Ukrajině objektivem reportážní a dokumentární fotografky Ivy Zímové

Bohaté portfolio česko-kanadské reportážní a dokumentární fotografky Ivy Zímové tvoří především její cesty do konfliktních oblastí. Nyní přináší svědectví o situaci z válečné Ukrajiny, kam jezdí pravidelně od 90. let. Od začátku invaze ruských vojsk v únoru 2022 už na Ukrajině strávila Iva Zímová dohromady několik měsíců a nevylučuje ani opětovný návrat do země. Soubor deseti fotografií je útržkem z její tvorby dokládající dopady války na společnost i individuum. „Někdy s nima pláču,“ říká autorka.
Fotografie s komentáři Etnografickému ústavu MZM věnovala nezisková společnost Rozkoš Bez Rizika, organizace, která od začátku války vyslala první sanitární vůz z Česka na Ukrajinu.

The rich portfolio of the Czech-Canadian reportage and documentary photographer Ivy Zímová mainly consists of her trips to conflict areas. Now she brings testimony about the situation in wartime Ukraine, where she has been going regularly since the 1990s. Since the beginning of the invasion of Russian troops in February 2022, she has already spent several months in Ukraine and does not rule out returning to the country again. The set of ten photographs is a fragment of her work documenting the effects of war on society and the individual. "Sometimes I cry with them," says the author.
The photos with comments were donated to the Ethnographic Institute of the Moravian museum in Brno by the non-profit company Rozkoš Bez Rizika, the organization that sent the first sanitary truck from the Czech Republic to Ukraine since the beginning of the war.
